We’re getting the gang back together: Amazing Grace Brass is performing together again this winter, with a concert weekend coming up in February.
Our ensemble first came together in the winter of 2022 to record demo tracks for the eurobrass brass choir book Amazing Grace. Since this beginning we’ve tried to meet yearly to rehearse and play some concerts together. This year we’re looking forward to three concerts and one worship service, all in the greater Stuttgart area.
Amazing Grace Brass consists of a combination of eurobrass musicians and German amateur musicians. In 2025 the ensemble officially became part of the eurobrass non-profit organization. Our ensemble has a lot in common with the eurobrass ensemble, most noticeably the many brass instruments and the musicians who play in both groups. One major difference is the choice of repertoire: Amazing Grace Brass focuses on pieces written for German brass choirs. We want to thoroughly explore this repertoire, rehearse it with diligence and precision, and present it with joy and musical excellence. Despite the difference in program selection, the two ensembles have the same purpose: to use music to glorify God and encourage others.
