We want to help these ensembles both improve musically and experience God&#8217;s presence through making music together. For years our <em>eurobrass<\/em> composers, Chris Woods and Ben Roundtree, have written arrangements for brass choirs with these goals in mind. Still they had the sense that they could do even more.<\/p>\n<p>In early 2020, as many brass choirs began a long break imposed by the Corona virus, we began work on a new project. Two years later, as many of these ensembles resume their ministry, we&#8217;re pleased to offer the finished product: <em>Amazing Grace<\/em>, a new collection for brass choir from <em>eurobrass<\/em>. The seventeen pieces in this collection include arrangements of hymns, spirituals, and worship songs, as well as original works. For each arrangement we&#8217;ve also included a brief devotional thought: a prompt to help ensembles turn their attention to God as they rehearse and perform together.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the book, we&#8217;re offering a demo album as a rehearsal aid.
